Why we chose the name WaiBoys:

Wai stands for water, the heart of our craft, and is a nod to our origins with Aquaholics. Wai also represents Waikato, the region we're proud to call home.

Boys reflects our team - the hardworking crew you rely on.

It's a playful nod to 'Waterboys' and a natural evolution from Aquaholics. It tells a clear story about who we are today and where we're headed.

Baden Coleman Plumber Hamilton Waiboys Plumbing

Baden Coleman

Manager / Director

Baden has worked in the commercial Plumbing and Drainage sector for over 25 years, from starting at the Gallagher Head office to Waikato Rugby Stadium in his first year.

Once Qualified he flew off overseas and gained international experience in London and Vancouver, working on large scale developments such as The Empire Square Apartments (800 apartments, 22 floor penthouse tower) and Winter Olympic Village (16 apartment building).

Once settled back in NZ with his wife Lynsey, he set out to run any commercial project on offer at the time. From Waikato Emergency Department and Acute services Building, Renal Building, Ministry of Education/City Fitness/Farm Source development, the PWC Tower, and the Wintec Trades Centre.

Transitioning into the office, Baden trained as an Estimator and Contracts Manager, successfully delivering projects such as Rototuna High School and the Porters Head Office.

Seeking new challenges, Baden joined Aquaholics as the Hamilton Manager. Initially a one-man operation, he helped grow the Hamilton branch into a strong and capable 12-person team, managing a wide range of large-scale commercial projects.

Today, Baden leads the commercial division, from pricing, project management and general business management. Behind the scenes, his wife Lynsey, with her background in project management and finance, helps keep everything running smoothly.

Outside of work, Baden and Lynsey enjoy family life in Hamilton, balancing busy work schedules with the many extracurricular activities of their two kids.
